Click the row number or column number where the row(s) or column(s) must be inserted. Your chart must be in the editing mode to do so.
You can also click with your right mouse button somewhere in your chart to insert rows or columns.
In the "Edit" menu, there are also buttons for adding rows or columns. These are always added at the edges of your chart. Use one of previous methods to insert rows or columns inside your chart.
Tap and hold somewhere in your chart to insert a row or column at the tapped position. Your chart must be in the editing mode to do so.

On your computer, you can delete multiple rows or columns at once. Your chart must be in the editing mode to do so. Click (left mouse button) the first row number of column number, and keep your mouse button pressed down. Move the mouse, so all rows or columns are highlighted which must be deleted. Release your mouse button and click "Delete rows" or "Delete columns" in the menu which appears now.
Deleting multiple rows or columns at once on your phone or tablet becomes available soon. This feature is already available on your computer.
When you're chart has unused whitespace around it, you can remove it by selecting the area you'd like to keep. Choose "Crop" in the menu which appears after selecting the area, which removes the whitespace around it.
You can't change the size of a chart which you have created by uploading a picture, without losing details. The best next step is to create a new chart and upload the picture again, now with the right dimensions.
